GOVERNMENTS- POLITICAL POWER- PEOPLE- FOOD SOVEREIGNITY- CORN
What is the relationship between the beings in which these communities live? Where as Mexicans have we lost the connection between them? Have we forgotten that we come from corn, that plants are living sisters and animals too? Or perhaps we have allowed oblivion to take what we have always known. EZLN is a sign that the love and recognition of ourselves in our lands is not forgotten.
In the rebellious mountains of the Mexican southeast, we can find the heart of a people who dream and build other worlds: the Zapatistas. Of diverse origin, Tzotsiles, Tzetzales, Zoques, Choles, and Mames are part of autonomous organizational structures that demonstrate that no bad government is needed to decide on our destinies and ways of living, with the EZLN, the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, as the benchmark to the creation of a libertarian movement that currently exists in Mexico, inspiring other people and other struggles to do things from below and collectively.

¿Cuál es la relación entre los seres en que viven estas comunidades? ¿Dónde, como mexicanos, hemos perdido la conexión entre ellos? ¿Hemos olvidado que venimos del maíz, que las plantas son hermanas vivas y los animales también? O tal vez hemos permitido que el olvido tome lo que siempre hemos sabido. El EZLN es una señal de que no se olvida el amor y el reconocimiento de nosotros mismos en nuestras tierras.
En las montañas rebeldes del sureste mexicano podemos encontrar el corazón de un pueblo que sueña y construye otros mundos: los zapatistas. De diversos orígenes, los tzotsiles, tzetzales, zoques, choles y mames forman parte de estructuras organizativas autónomas que demuestran que no hace falta un mal gobierno para decidir nuestros destinos y modos de vida, con el EZLN, el Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional, como referencia para la creación de un movimiento libertario que existe actualmente en México, inspirando a otras personas y otras luchas para hacer las cosas desde abajo y colectivamente.
